All-steel, air-on quarter-turn reverse
Allows the operator to efficiently rotate the air hose a quarter turn to reverse the tool. Instant positive audio and visual feedback indicates the tool has shifted into reverse — no need to shut the tool off underground.
Ribbed tool body
Maximizes production by placing additional friction between the tool body and the surrounding soil. Inside body bore is honed and precision-fit to the striker, plus improved power and wear ring life.
Free-floating valve design
Allows the valve to pivot on a ball joint bushing assembly to center the valve in the striker bore, helping to minimize wear and friction and extend tool component life.
Moving head design
Allows 100 percent of the striker energy to be delivered to the moving head, which is independent of the tool body, for maximized production and accuracy in compact soil conditions.
Operator-friendly features
Oiler assemblies feature a quick-reverse swivel kit for air-on reversing, a sight glass to see oil levels and a pressure relief cap.
Serviceable rear tail hose
Can be field-serviced in minutes — no need to disassemble the tool.
